We spent six days here in December 2008. Beautiful, white, cool, breezy, modern construction. Great place to lounge by the pool or on the beach while enjoying a killer pisco sour. By far the best ‘high-end’ option in/near Mancora with much attention to detail in the rooms and above all fantastic, warm and truly efficient staff.
Seriously-great restaurant (from what I discussed with other clients, seemingly by far the best table in the area and worth visiting even if you don’t stay at the hotel). We went into Mancora itself one evening and never went back as the vibe & food were better at DCO.
Personally, the only downside it that the rooms are slightly on the small side (execpt maybe the suite which I was not able to see) and maybe the soundproofing could be a little better as the waves do make quite a lot of noise – although possibly, this would be a pleasure for many.
Mancora is not a tropical dream-beach à la Thailand/Tahiti/Bali etc…, and although doubt I’d ever return there specifically as it’s a bit out of the way, it’s well-worth a few days relaxing here if you’re passing through (If one is a surfer this probably doesn’t apply) but the end of the day, I wish this same hotel, just as it is, was somewhere closer and dare I say, prettier. In any case, congrats to them.

Truly spectacular! What a wonderful place to come and relax. This hotel is the best run I have ever been in – from NY to LA to London. Simply the best.

¿Para que viajar a Jamaica,Miami,Cancun etc? Si tienen DCO?, más comodo, mejor atención, mejor spa,más económico, mejor mar.
